Best Luxury Brands 2026 and Must-Have Items

January 27, 2025

I’ve always had a bit of a soft spot for luxury brands. You know, the world where everything is elegant and smells faintly of the most exquisite leather. And now that we’re in 2025, it’s super interesting to see how these brands have evolved and which ones are reigning supreme in terms of global value.

For context, I’ve been following Statista’s reports on luxury brand values for a few years now—just something I like to follow.

Based on that data (specifically this chart), these ten brands have consistently dominated the top spots, with some friendly jostling for first, second, or third place. Using that as a jumping-off point—and sprinkling in some of my personal shopping stories—I’ve compiled a quick list of who’s leading the pack now.

Louis Vuitton

It probably comes as no surprise that Louis Vuitton has maintained a rather impressive brand value, often cited around the $50+ billion mark in previous years, and continuing to grow in 2025.

The craftsmanship is insane. That might be one reason why LV remains the top: timeless design plus guaranteed quality. Everywhere I travel, whether it’s Paris or Singapore, the Louis Vuitton storefronts are almost always buzzing with people.

The classic and timeless design of their women’s bags has made them very popular around the world. I recommend you take a look at these works of art.

Chanel

When I think of Chanel… I immediately picture these classic and iconic black and white bags and the unforgettable aroma of Chanel No. 5.

According to the data I checked, Chanel’s brand value has hovered around $18 billion, and in 2025, it’s still up there among the best of the best. Coco Chanel’s legacy is just so strong, the brand is practically synonymous with Parisian glamour.

Hermès

Now, Hermès is that brand everyone associates with the Birkin bag, right? It’s one of the most coveted and exclusive handbags in the entire fashion universe.

Hermès ranks high on the list, with its brand value frequently cited around $17–18 billion. For me, Hermès was always that brand I admired from afar.

For my opinion, the beauty of the brand: you can buy something small and still feel like part of the Hermès club.

Gucci

Gucci. I swear, about five years ago, you couldn’t walk down the street without seeing someone rocking those Gucci Ace sneakers and One of my favorite belts is the classic double-G buckle belt.

They’ve gone through a bit of a rebrand recently, with fresh creative direction pulling influences from the archives, but they’re still absolutely massive in terms of market presence.

Statista’s data showed Gucci’s value hovering in the mid-teens (around $15–16 billion), and it’s only gotten stronger with new campaigns and celeb endorsements.

Cartier

If you’ve got a thing for jewelry, Cartier needs no introduction. Remember the Love bracelet craze? It’s still going strong in 2025, trust me. Cartier’s brand value has been in the $14–15 billion, and the brand keeps growing because they just get luxury jewelry so, so right. It is so fantastic to be proposed with a Cartier engagement ring. This time, the most iconic Cartier item is the Juste un Clou ring.

Customers say that Cartier’s stores offer excellent service. They say that the stores provide coffee and chocolates and treat customers like royalty during their visits. That level of care is a big part of why Cartier’s brand loyalty is off the charts.

Dior

Dior is another brand that’s impossible not to like if you’re into fashion. Dior’s makeup and fragrances have made the brand more accessible, which helps explain why it’s constantly on the tip of everyone’s tongue.

Have you heard about Dior Sauvage? (review)

Their brand value was reported around $12–13 billion in recent years, and from my vantage point—especially with all the hype over their ready-to-wear lines — it’s no surprise that they’re continuing their upward trajectory in 2025.

Tiffany & Co.

I’m a sucker for that iconic Tiffany colors — it gets me every time. Even if you’re not dropping major cash on a diamond ring, a simple silver necklace with the classic “Please Return to Tiffany” tag can make you feel special. Check their iconic items collection to realize what that’s all about.

Its brand value was around $6–7 billion, but it remains a heavy hitter in the jewelry. I have noticed in 2025 they’ve expanded their product lines quite a bit.

Burberry

Known for that trademark check pattern, it has a strong British heritage that’s hard to miss.

One random memory: I was traveling in London, and it started raining (shocker). I dashed into a Burberry store near Regent Street, basically just to escape the drizzle, and ended up chatting with a sales associate about their iconic Cashmere scarf. I couldn’t afford one back then, but I tried one on. It’s definitely on my wish list for the future— timeless, and super practical (at least, that’s how I’m justifying it).

The brand value has sat around $6–7 billion over the years. In 2025, Burberry remains a staple, especially with some of the new runway pieces that blend modern street style with classic tailoring.

Prada

Prada is a brand because founded in Milan, Italy. Their bags quickly became popular because they have a simple Italian look and are made with high quality materials only. (Read: The most iconic Prada products)

One thing that users notice is that backpacks are extremely durable. They can withstand things like spilled coffee, being stuffed into overhead bins, and being dragged around in the rain, and they still look brand new. If a backpack can withstand all that, it’s a clear sign of its quality.

Its brand value is often around $5–6 billion, and it has gained a fresh wave of fans, especially among younger audiences, who love the brand’s blend of tradition and innovation.

Fendi

Rounding out our list is Fendi, with a brand value that used to sit around $4–5 billion, continuing to strengthen in 2025, thanks in part to celebrity endorsements and their iconic Baguette bags. (I’m convinced Carrie Bradshaw single-handedly made the Fendi Baguette an “It Bag.”)

When I first saw a Fendi Baguette in person, I was in Milan for a quick weekend trip. It was displayed in a glass case with this intricate beadwork, almost like it was an art piece rather than a bag you’d toss your phone and lip gloss into. That’s the thing about Fendi: designs that can be playful and super luxurious all at once. Even if you’re not a huge logo fanatic, you’ll likely find something.

Here are ten luxury powerhouses that will continue to dominate the industry in 2025. This information is supported by solid statistics from Statista. I love these brands for many reasons. I love the history and creativity they bring. I also love the the exclusivity.

Each one tells a story, and sometimes it’s that story we’re buying into, not just the product itself.

I hope I’ve offered a bit of authoritativeness in highlighting what makes these brands stand out. And I’m always aiming for trustworthiness by being transparent about where I’ve gotten my facts (thank you, Statista!).
